Bradley P. Kammholz is the founding partner of Kammholz Law, LLP. Brad’s practice is limited exclusively to representing individuals who have been injured (and families who have lost loved ones) as a result of auto accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and construction accidents. He has represented numerous clients with catastrophic injuries, and has achieved results in excess of $1,000,000 for a number of his clients.

Brad has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2012 for both plaintiff’s personal injury and plaintiff’s medical malpractice. He was named Lawyer of the Year for plaintiff’s medical malpractice by Best Lawyers in 2020, and was named to the Rochester Business Journal’s Power 50 Lawyers in Rochester for 2022. He is also listed in Super Lawyers.  

Brad grew up in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1987 with a B.S. in Accounting, and the Boston University School of Law with a J.D. in 1990. Brad decided to settle down in Rochester, where his mother grew up and where he has extended family. 

Before opening his own firm, Brad was a partner with the Rochester law firm of Faraci Lange. Before that, Brad worked for the Law Firm of A. Vincent Buzard and the Rochester office of Phillips Lytle. 

Brad is admitted to practice law in all New York state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.  

Brad recently completed a term with the New York State Seventh Judicial District Grievance Committee, a position to which he was appointed by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, of the New York State Supreme Court.

Brad is a Past-President (2021-2022) of the Monroe County Bar Association. Over the years, he has chaired and served on several different committees for the Bar Association. He has a particular interest in the health and well-being of lawyers, and serves as the head of the Bar Association’s efforts in this regard. He has served on the Board of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and is a Past-President of the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar. He is also a  member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice (AAJ/ATLA).

Brad has received various honors throughout his career including the Humanitarian Award from the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar, two (2) President’s Awards from the Monroe County Bar Association, the 2011 Daily Record Rochester Leaders in Law Award, the 40 Under 40 Award from the Rochester Business Journal, and the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the New York State Bar Association. He also co-founded the Rochester Inn of Court – an organization dedicated to bringing senior and junior lawyers together to ensure civility in the legal profession.

Brad is also very active in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women in Rochester. He has also coached various youth sports, volunteered in different ways at his children’s schools and his church – St. Louis Church in Pittsford, and has served on Boards for the Pittsford Food Cupboard and the American Heart Association.

Brad and his wife Karen have twins, Maddie and Brennan, who are currently enrolled in law school. Karen, a lawyer herself, practices law with the legal services provider LawNY.
